Volunteers are the heartbeat of Savannah in the Round. By joining our crew, you’ll play a vital role in bringing
this incredible festival to life—helping create unforgettable experiences for artists, audiences and fellow crew
alike.
Volunteering is not only deeply rewarding, it’s also a fantastic addition to your CV. Best of all, it’s loads of fun:

setting.
Before You Apply
Please take a moment to:
- Review the minimum requirements below.
- If you’re employed, tentatively request leave for the festival period.
- Check for any clashes with study, family, travel or other commitments.
- If you have already purchased tickets, please note that they are non-refundable if you are later accepted as a
volunteer.
How to Stand Out
We love volunteers who bring energy and flexibility. You don’t need prior experience (though it’s great if you
have it), but applications shine when they show:
- A willingness to be flexible with roles and availability.
- Relevant skills (e.g. customer service, retail, trades, event work).
- A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm.
Minimum Requirements
To be part of the Savannah crew, you must:
- Be available for the full festival period of Thursday 8 – Sunday 11 October 2026. Volunteers working during
the festival must be available across all four days; some teams also operate during setup and pack-down
outside these dates. - Commit to 16 hours across 2-4 days (depending on your chosen role).
- Be 18 years of age or older at the time of the festival.
- Bring a positive, proactive attitude.
- Represent the festival in a friendly, respectful and professional manner at all times.
- Have a basic understanding of, and respect for, workplace health and safety.
- Be comfortable working in warm conditions (daily highs may reach 30°C+).
- Be available to attend a pre-festival briefing (online or on-site).
Volunteer Package
In return for your time and energy, each volunteer receives:
- A Season Festival Ticket for Savannah in the Round.
- An Unpowered Campsite in the volunteer campground.
- Early access to the campgrounds – volunteers may arrive from Tuesday 6 October, ahead of general public
access on Wednesday. - A souvenir Crew T-Shirt.
- And, of course… the experience of a lifetime.
